ABOUT ME

Brief introduction:

I have always been interested in doing art, but I also have a love for science as well! I started off with science from elementary school up into my sophomore year of college. I’ve also always done something related to art, whether that is band, art classes, or being the person in a group project to edit slides to make the slides “pretty” or just making the visuals off assignments in general.
That was until my junior year and COVID and we got sent back home, I decided to start painting and that’s where it all began!

What exactly is New Media & Design?

According to the University of Greensboro North Carolina (UNCG),

“The UNC Greensboro Bachelor of Fine Art Program in Studio Art – New Media and Design focuses on the creative uses of technology in art and design disciplines. Courses cover the diverse techniques, skills, and concepts that are important to artistic work in video/animation/motion, digital imaging, coding/interaction, typography, and visual communication. Students learn a variety of research, production, and concept development methods, media histories and theories, and industry-standard visualization tools. At the upper-level, you are able to apply skills, approach complexity, and direct and manage projects independently. Internships offer chances for applied knowledge and complement coursework.”

What does all of that mean exactly?

It means that I able to combine traditional art and non-traditional art.

I can do mix media things including:

- Stop animation
- Proficient in Adobe Programs.
- Painting
- Including video animation, digital imaging, coding, typography, and visual communication.
